CenterPoint Energy Electric Plans
As a transmission and distribution utility, CenterPoint Energy does not directly offer electric plans to customers. What Is CenterPoint Energy Delivery Charges?
CenterPoint Energy charges a monthly fee of $4.39 and a per-kWh fee of $0.038957 for electricity delivery. These charges, revised twice a year, in March and September, cover the cost of maintaining and upgrading the electric grid infrastructure, as well as responding to and resolving power outages.
Delivery charges appear as a separate item on your electric bill, alongside charges from your chosen REP for the energy consumed.
